CSO needs long term solution

Saturday's Masterworks concert by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra was a testament to the professionalism of the musicians who had just agreed to take a collective financial hit. The orchestra's grand performance also underscored the importance of keeping the CSO intact, despite its continuing problems.

One of the Army Wives likes orchestra music

I was told of a celebrity spotting after a concert Saturday night by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. In the front row was Brigid Brannagh (left) flanked by a couple of producers from Army Wives, a Lifetime Network show (it’s filmed in Charleston if you haven’t heard by now).
