Lauren Paul

Lauren Paul is in her second season as a member of the violin section of the Charleston Symphony. She previously served as Concertmaster of the Mansfield Symphony, appearing as soloist in the 2006-2007 season. Lauren was a member of the Akron Symphony, Canton Symphony, Cleveland Opera Orchestra, Cleveland Pops, RED An Orchestra, National Repertory Orchestra, Des Moines Metro Opera, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. She earned a Master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Northwestern University where she also minored in history and was an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Major teachers and mentors include Kenneth Goldsmith, Gerardo Ribeiro, David Updegraff, Stephen Rose, and Kimberly Meier-Sims. As the graduate of a two-year teacher training program in the Suzuki violin method, she teaches violin at the Ashley Hall School and private lessons to all ages and levels.
